No offenseWell, you know the songs thatYou know state i'm inandLove meandEven the first song the party's overThe party's over is happy and bouncy and right but it's really tongue-in-cheek. It's it's really if you look at the lyricsIt's not it's a little darkwellAnd that's the thing that I thought was interesting about it because if you're not paying attentionYou might get the idea that it's sort of a party songBut then you listen to the lyrics and you you read them because I read every lyric as I was listening to itand I mean the juxtapositionWas kind of interesting because I I think that people could be mistaken and thinking like a partyAnd the vibe of the song is yeah party too. Very bouncy. Yeah, soYou know those three songs right there had happened and the way that they came out. It was very obvious to me ofI just wasn't readyTo deal with what was coming out. I certainly wasn't ready to put it on a record for the world to see rightRight, you know you put a lot I will say that so in an effort to takeSome of it off myself in the sense that like I said, I can separate from somebody else's songWell, I didn't I didn't write itbut I certainlygravitated towardsSongs that fit the mood and fit within the songs that I'd had writtenIt's not that I couldn't have wrote the record. It's that IDon't know that I was ready to put out what that record would have been on a wholeIt's absolutely going to come. I it might come in a little bit of a different settingAre you someone who is tormented by songs in that?If something is in your mind and on your heart that if you don'twhether it's leave where you're at or get up out of bed orGet the song out of you that it just sort of antagonizes you and haunts you until you're able to sort of set it freeYes, but I only set it free when it's time to recordI can't tell you how many countless songs have gone through my head and leftReally like the full song I can hear the whole everything the music the words the melody. Wow, all of itAll the way through and there it goes. So I try as much as I can tocreatively shut myself offAs much as I can and to the point where I don't even have a guitar sitting close byto pick up and mess around with becauseIf I wasn't cognitive enough to put my phone there and recordingI can come up with in my mind what to me at that moment is the coolest stuffAnd have forgot it by the time i'm at the end of it doing it that first timeAnd it's not quite the same the second time i'm trying to remember what I did the first time andis that becauseyou feel like you could sort of fall into a rabbit hole andjustContinuously be writing and hold up and not living if you were to allow the music toCreate as you go. I think it's probably becauseI have no real answer for you on thatOkay, I I don't know why I don't justAllow the spigot to be turned on all the time and and if a song comes to meI don't know that i've ever done that. It's interesting. I mean because you're obviously very talented and you write tremendous songs and soI can't imagineComing up with one, you know, maybe to self-analyze myself, maybeI feel like if I just kept letting it out constantly that it would water down. Okay, maybeAnd it takes all that bottled up stuff that naturally just happens to me anyways as a human beingI feel like maybe with it all bottled up the 10 songs 12 songs that are going to come out of me for that time frame becauseThat's when I need to record 10 or 12 songs for the recordThat there's moreBottled up behind themOkaymore emotion to dump into what doesCome out of meWell, that's very interesting.
