There's a song on the album called Stray Dogs.In thinking about where I'm at in my life, I guess, and where I'm at in my career,we're celebrating our 15th year anniversary of doing thissince we signed our record deal, which is unreal and awesome, by the way. But, you know, I've fielded questions even as recently as three weeks ago or whatever.Do you feel like you're a little different?Do you feel like you're a bit of an outlaw, which I don't?Do you feel like you're maybe underappreciated or whatever? And I do. I mean, I'll be honest, I do.You know, we've sold five, six million albums and had 20 hit records, and I don't say that boastfully. I'm just being honest. You know, we've never been on the award shows except for one time. But it's probably due to the fact that I've kind of done it my way.I don't really do it the same way that people in town do it,and there's not anything wrong. There's nothing wrong with the way they do it or the way I do it.But, you know, I live back home where I'm from. It's probably cost me hit records. It's probably cost me trophies at award shows. But my family is more important than music to me and my happiness. And so to relate it to the song and the album title,I don't run with the pack, so to speak. And I'm proud of that, you know.
