Thank you very much for being so patient. We are about ready to start. For those of you that are with us tonight for the first time, we'd like to welcome you to the religious recording session of Miss Aretha Franklin and the Southern California Community Choir. And we'd like to say to you it's live tonight, and we want you to be a part of this recording session. And we want you to get involved, clap your hands, say amen, help us to have a good time. I am sure tonight that you're in store for a very rare treat. How many were here last night? Was it all right? Now when we say all these cameras and things you see around here, this is Warner Brothers getting it together for television. Don't be bashful. When the camera comes your way, we don't know if it'll get back again. So while it's coming your way, get in on it, all right? I don't want you to feel too bad at me if you see me moving around. Wherever I see them grinding, that's where I'm going to be. Listen here, did you come to have a good time? Oh, don't talk to me like that. If you were at a ball game, somebody made a touchdown or hit a home run, you'd make some noise. I said, did you come to have a good time tonight? All right then, very good. Won't you welcome my choir, the young folk that I love, young people that are going to back Ms. Aretha Franklin tonight, young folk that I'm proud of. We've been singing it for two years and we've been singing it until it has finally become a reality. We are on our way. The Southern California Community Choir.
