The country on it, you know, I played sports, coached my kids in sports,in particular baseball, and coached my kids in softball. And if you get hit by a pitch, back when I was growing up at least, there was a saying, say, hey, rub a little dirt on it, you'll be all right.Like, toughen up, it's fine.I can't take credit for the idea.I think it was my producer's idea.Either him or Casey Beathard said, hey, what if we did it,but rub a little country on it?And we wrote the song initially as a joke, to be honest with you.And it was almost like a rap song, like us just kidding around with each other. And we thought, this will be hilarious.Nobody will ever hear it.You know, one of those kind of deals. We'll just play it for our songwriter buddies just because it's funny. And I don't know, we played it, and we high-hied about it and laughed about it.And then we completely rewrote.Redid it in a completely different way and made it maybe the most country song on the album. But I think that, you know, that happens when you have a really good title, idea. And I think we all kind of thought that was too good of an idea to just keep it as a joke, you know.I think there's a common misconception, even I do it,when songs are fun and, I don't know, tempo and that, you think they're probably not that well written. They're just, you know, that's just fun.But I think there's some really clever lyrics in this song. And I think it's a really well-written song, which I'm proud of.
