oh Anita Anita one of the things I want to mention to you about this album since
it is my 60th album I wanted to do something a little different not just
another typical album so I decided to do cover versions of songs that really
influenced me in my life as I was growing up songs by Elton John Peter
Gabriel Paul McCartney like I did earlier Stevie

who's actually on the album I think it's so cool Stevie Winters on my album I
think it's so cool but one of the first songs I'd like you to listen to Anita
when you get home tonight because it's so sentimental to me is Moon River by
Andy Williams now you all know the significance of Andy
in my life right I was five years old when I made my debut on his television
show then when I was about seven my brothers and I started touring with Andy
we were his opening act we come on stage and do our little dance routines and
sing our harmonies try our best to warm up the audience best we could and then
we'd run offstage and Mr. Williams would make his grand entrance but most of the
time I never went to the dressing room I always stood in the wings and I would
watch Andy I would listen to him sing that's when I
fell in love with that song Moon River and I remember thinking as this little
seven-year-old kid watching from the wings
someday someday I want to record this Anita that's why I put it on the album
