I long to kiss a drifting snowflake
As my lips near it, it melts away
I want to hold cold freezing drops
It still slips away through my fingers
Why do you always flee when I come close?
Do I not belong here or do you keep away too?
Why does my mind just seem to follow my heart's beat?
Could it be that you have unaware taken over completely?
Oh, my lady snow, my lady
My world will sink to endless winter from your falling tears
Oh, my lady snow, my lady, don't cry
When you blush again, that will be our early spring
Why do you always flee when I come close?
Do I not belong here or do you keep away too?
Why does my mind just seem to follow my heart's beat?
Could it be that you have unaware taken over completely?
Oh, my lady snow, my lady
I can't stay here, afraid it's too late for what I hold my fears
Oh, my lady snow, my lady, don't cry
I will step to you like you once truly did for me
