audios cowboy is one of the songs that we wrote around the time of the the second album and you
know when you're when you're compiling all the songs for an album you're trying to tell a story
and have these songs play off each other and it didn't make it onto the second album but we always
loved that song and it's kind of a man like you know amarillo by morning or something like that
kind of a song feels like to me and it's just a down-the-middle country song country story we
always got to write those like just sweet spot songs that they always feel classic to me like
an old george strait song or you know garth brooks song or something it did come out it you know with
the recording i feel like it probably feels pretty eaglesy kind of desperado there's a duality to
that phrase to the meaning too right adios cowboy was something that was an endearing kind of
salutation yeah when they left and then it met something different yeah those opportunities
where you can kind of use the phrase and in it from two angles you know
