Summary: Jay Chou, in love w/Hebe Tian makes this song for her based on his feelings. In the past he was involved w/the wrong crowd. Some gansters were breaking down the store Hebe worked at, and afterwards Jay went to get revenge w/his gang for Hebe's sake. He had changed into a better person and even bought the store Hebe worked at when they first met, not wanting to forget the memories they had shared. But after he got out of jail, Hebe had married someone else and had a kid. When he sees the kid, that's when he says "I already changed, but it's too late."
