We appreciate you checking out Big Machine Radio and the Brett Young album release special and the next song I want to talk about is in case you didn't know it is your second single It's already becoming a song that is sort of integrating into people's lives Whether it's a wedding a proposal or just somebody confessing their feelings and talk to me about Knowing that you are now going to be sort of ingrained in people's memories and and life stories I mean you could be the song that they proposed to her that they got married to that's pretty crazy You know to think about words that came from me and from a hand You know Trent Thomas and Tyler Reef who I wrote it with that there are words and a collection of our Experiences to think about how that's going to become like you said part of everybody else's story There were so many weddings this last year before the song was really even known where it was used as first dance and I heard a story about my brother-in-law my sister were at a wedding in Portland and They literally had it on repeat for their whole ceremony So it was it was Everybody walked to it everything up until the minister started talking that song was on repeat and it would I had nothing to do with? My family even telling them about the song they found it on their own. I'm going geez. I mean that's flattering us almost overkill Yeah, but um, you know that song is so I hate to use the word basic but intentionally basic We didn't we didn't try to go too deep. We didn't try to tell too much of a story So that everybody could connect and make it their own and we did the same thing with the music video Yeah, we didn't tell too much of a story because the it's everybody's story It's whoever's story that can connect with it and make it their own and we really hope that it would connect with people And and so it's been fun to watch that happen. Well, and I think as a woman, especially I mean, you're like Oh, that's one of those songs that you wish somebody would either write for you or play for you say to you because it's Oftentimes it goes unsaid and and so it's such a sweet sentiment that I'm sure and I'm sure men too But as a woman I can say that that song hits a chord Yes, it's as a man It's kind of a cheat to have a song like that because we are so bad at saying that in everyday life, right? So to have a song that's kind of a like I said a cheat where you can go.
