Fell in love with Tilly Tadpole
Who lived in a nearby waterhole
It was just a hop or two
From Gary's bush to Tilly's waterside
Where he'd spend the day
Gazing in his true love's eyes
But as the summer wore on
Gary saw his true love was to die
For the waterhole was fast becoming dry
He'd hold back his tears
And hide all his fears
Cause Tilly didn't know
That soon there'd be no waterhole
Then one day it happened
Gary came to find no water there

But the now dry ground was bare
He called out her name
He thought it was in vain
As he hopped through the bog
When he found Tilly
She was a lovely frog

Said Gary happily
We'll live in a tree
And raise our family
And then Tilly came hopping along
Going ribbit, ribbit
And she went
And she had Gary for lunch
